Glenheimatar Daxanto

The Glenheimatar "Daxanto" is one of the most rare and expensive whiskeys in all of New Eden

about 4 years ago a large stockpile of ancient casks was found in a ruin on Roniko V. Carbon dating on the wood predate the collapse of the Genesis wormhole.

The contents were rebottled by Glenheimatar & Son. Research shows the whiskey to have undergone a 128 year maturing period before the planet froze over. The constant temperature of 281 kelvin inside the ruin where it was found, proved to be so perfect, that it slowed the maturing process to such an extent where it never damaged the molecular structure of the whiskey.

This said, the bottlery managed to bring out a batch of only 589 bottles as most of the liquid had slowly evaporated out of the barrels. 500 bottles were put on the open market for anyone eager enough to spend his life savings.

The casks were made from a type of wood never before seen in New Eden, with carbon dating putting it back tens of thousands of years.
After extensive chemical research, the fluid was proven to be the oldest, single malt whiskey in New Eden.

All these factors weighed in to the pricing of the whiskey, that currently sells for 28 billion ISK per bottle (may depend on region)

High ranking Amarr Grand Cardinals have been known to receive it at their coronation.
